On Tuesday July 11th, Drummer Andy Sanesi and I will be hosting a benefit for Nick Mancini at TRIP in Santa Monica, CA. Before relocating to Tulsa, Nick was veteran of the LA Jazz Scene. In an unfortunate turn of events, Nick’s infant son Max has been hospitalized and to make matters worse, a recent storm caused a tree to damage both family vehicles and Nick’s Vibraphone. Andy Sanesi and I quickly got in touch with the folks at TRIP (where Nick had a residency) to put together an evening of music. All proceeds from the night go to Nick and the Mancini family in their time of need.
